Welcome to my first blog! My name is Satomi Echizenya but I go by Sato! I was born and raised in Saitama, Japan. I am half Japanese and half Filipino (Hello kapatid🙌🇵đź‡) I first moved to Michigan in 2014 and now Virginia has been my second home for 7 years. This is my first semester at Liberty as I'm a transfer junior majoring in Aviation Administration!

How did I start Sato's Bentos?
I've always wanted to do something that no one has ever done at Liberty and starting Japanese food business was the first idea that popped into my head. I immediately took action by going to the kitchen and cooking for samples and testings. I shared my business idea on LU girl's Facebook page, and found out that a surprising amount of people love and wanted Japanese food here in Lynchburg! With the huge support of these girls, friends, and family, my simple idea became the reality!
Mission and Vision
Serving people has always been my big passion. I love my country and I want to share the beauty of Japanese culture here at Liberty University🇯🇵 Sato's Bentos is the perfect place where I can do and share what I love at the same time. I hope to spread the joy and serve in humility just as Jesus Christ taught us to do. I am so excited to see what the Lord has for me through this journey and how He is going to use me as His tool for His purpose!
